You may wonder "What the heck? Why is LSB paying their customers?" That's a very good question... LSB pays up to 1% CA$H BACK* to our customers for using their LSB SHAZAMChek® card to make everyday purchases, like gas and groceries. The SHAZAMChek® card is associated with an LSB checking account, so when purchases are made, they are drawn on checking funds. Purchases must qualify for the CA$H BACK, but that part is easy. In order to have a qualifying transaction, one thing must happen: the transaction MUST be run as a CREDIT transaction, and not a debit transaction. It's that easy - use the SHAZAMChek® card for your purchases, run your purchases as CREDIT transactions, and earn CA$H BACK! No tricks, no strings, just CA$H BACK. The CA$H BACK reward is automatically deposited into each LSB customer checking account at the end of each year - on or around December 31st. How is this possible? It's no secret that financial institutions earn a small fee from the various payment networks - like Visa and Mastercard - called an interchange fee. This fee helps financial institutions offset the expense and risk of issuing debit and credit cards. LSB has chosen to share a significant portion of these fees with our customers in the form of CA$H BACK. More about CA$H BACK at LSB... *Cash back: Your account will be credited back a portion
of your purchases each year (Jan. 1 to Dec. 31). Only signature-based
Visa authorized purchases will qualify for credit. ATM transactions
and purchases made with a PIN do not qualify. |
